october fun - halloween hair

caught the rachel ray show last week and she tried on some hair product called sparkling shimmer spray - supposedly it gives you a diamond dust sparkle for $13.50. i'm sure it's subtle and beautiful, but i have a certain fondness for the way we used to do it: hairspray-ing our hair like our life depended on it, and then throwing glitter at it.

now THAT was halloween.
